The Acrop­o­lis Mu­seum in Athens com­mem­o­rates Greece’s en­try into the Sec­ond World War in 1940, also known as “Ochi Day,” on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 28. Archaeologists will be on hand to an­swer young vis­i­tors’ ques­tions from noon un­til 6 p.m. on the mu­seum’s sec­ond floor. The mu­seum will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the day and ad­mis­sion will be free of charge.
