The Acropolis Museum in Athens is showcasing three gold Scythian finds on loan from the Hermitage Museum in Saint Petersburg. The display is part of a series of cultural exchanges between Greece and Russia within the framework of the 2016 Greek-Russian Initiative. The three Scythian items on view comprise two vessels and a piece of jewelry discovered in a 4th century BC grave in Crimea in 1830. They are on display in the museum’s foyer and can be viewed without paying for an admission ticket.
