Twelve hurt, one crit­i­cally, in col­li­sion near Agrinio

At least 12 peo­ple were in­jured, one of them crit­i­cally, on the out­skirts of Agrinio in west­ern Greece yes­ter­day, when a minibus crashed into the back of a truck. The driver of the KTEL in­ter­city minibus suf­fered the worst in­juries and had to be cut out from the wreck­age of the ve­hi­cle by fire­fight­ers. Two chil­dren, aged 11 and 17, are also among the in­jured. An in­ves­ti­ga­tion was launched to de­ter­mine why the minibus crashed into the truck near the junc­tion for Agrinio on the An­tirio-Ioan­nina na­tional high­way.
