The World Congress of Phi­los­o­phy, on the topic of the phi­los­o­phy of Aris­to­tle, opens at the Herod At­ti­cus The­ater on Satur­day, July 9. Run­ning to July 15, the event’s lec­tures take place at Athens Univer­sity’s School of Phi­los­o­phy in Zo­grafou. The con­fer­ence marks 2,400 years since the philoso­pher’s birth and is or­ga­nized by the In­ter­na­tional As­so­ci­a­tion of Greek Phi­los­o­phy, the Greek Philo­soph­i­cal So­ci­ety and the Philo­soph­i­cal So­ci­ety of Cyprus, among oth­ers, with the sup­port of the In­ter­na­tional Fed­er­a­tion of Philo­soph­i­cal So­ci­eties (FISP).
