Ai Wei­wei at the Cy­cladic

The Mu­seum of Cy­cladic Art is cur­rently host­ing Ai Wei­wei’s first ma­jor ex­hi­bi­tion in Greece, which in­cludes a new work cre­ated es­pe­cially for the mu­seum. The show, which will run through Oc­to­ber 30, is also the Chi­nese artist’s first in an ar­chae­o­log­i­cal mu­seum. Among the works on dis­play are Ai’s “Div­ina Pro­por­tione” (2012), “Mask” (2011), “Cao” (2014) and “Grapes” (2011). The mu­seum will be do­nat­ing 10 per­cent of all ex­hi­bi­tion pro­ceeds to Doc­tors With­out Borders and META­drasi, two NGOs that are cur­rently as­sist­ing refugees in Greece.
