The Kou­fon­isia Clas­si­cal Mu­sic Fes­ti­val takes place on the Cy­cladic is­land in July and Au­gust. Pi­anists Jaan Ots of Es­to­nia and Greece’s Kornil­ios Michailides will team up for an evening of Bach, Chopin, Beethoven, Dvo­rak and De­bussy on July 22, while oboe soloist Vagge­lis Christopou­los joins forces with pi­anist Natalia Michaili­dou in works by Mozart, Poulenc, Ravel, Le Boucher and Bal­tas on July 27. On Au­gust 9, vi­olin soloist Mar­garita Nas­touli and pi­anist Ne­feli Mous­soura will per­form works by Bach, Schu­mann and Brahms, while the fes­ti­val’s fi­nal con­cert, on Au­gust 17, will fea­ture Greek harpist Maria-Christina Harper and vo­cal­ist Sofia Avrami­dou. Per­for­mances, which take place at the res­i­dence of fes­ti­val or­ga­niz­ers Kornil­ios Michailides and Natalia Michaili­dou, start at 9 p.m. Ad­mis­sion costs 10 euros and tick­ets are avail­able at the Aelia store fac­ing the Fos Fa­nari tav­erna.
