Three Afghans ar­rested for the mur­der of 16-year-old

Three Afghan men have been iden­ti­fied and ar­rested as the killers of a 16-year-old – also Afghani – dur­ing a brawl last week at the Elliniko mi­grant and refugee re­cep­tion cen­ter in south­ern Athens. The three men – aged 18, 23 and 37 re­spec­tively – are also be­ing ac­cused of the at­tempted mur­der of another two Afghan men, who were also in­volved in the brawl that erupted last Thurs­day. Ac­cord­ing to in­ves­ti­ga­tors, the three men worked in a group and reg­u­larly ha­rassed other mi­grants and refugees at the re­cep­tion cen­ter, us­ing knives, bats and other weapons. The group’s 18-year-old leader and the 23-year-old were ar­rested on Sun­day and were to ap­pear be­fore a pros­e­cu­tor yes­ter­day, while the third in the group was ar­rested on Fri­day.
