The EUNIC (Euro­pean Union Na­tional In­sti­tutes for Cul­ture) Clus­ter Athens is or­ga­niz­ing “Euro­pean Val­ues Re­vis­ited: The Role of Cul­ture in Refugee In­te­gra­tion into Lo­cal Com­mu­ni­ties,” a two-day con­fer­ence tak­ing place at Deree – The Amer­i­can Col­lege of Greece on Thurs­day, Novem­ber 11, and Fri­day, Novem­ber 12. The event aims to high­light dif­fer­ent views re­gard­ing Euro­pean val­ues as well as the chal­lenge to pro­mote them as a means of achiev­ing the so­cial and cul­tural in­clu­sion of refugees. Key­note speak­ers at the con­fer­ence in­clude Athens Univer­sity Pro­fes­sor Per­i­cles Val­lianos, the di­rec­tor of the Aus­trian In­te­gra­tion Fund, Franz Wolf, and EUNIC Pres­i­dent Michael Metz-Morch.
