Stocks down 0.57 percent
The closing auctions sent the Greek bourse benchmark into the red yesterday, while the OPAP gaming company dominated trading for the second day in a row.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index closed at 578.23 points, shedding 0.57 percent from Wednesday’s 581.56 points. The large-cap FTSE 25 index fell 0.13 percent to 1,529.32 points. OPAP rose 2.33 percent, accounting for over a third of turnover, which came to 33.6 million euros, down from Wednesday’s 55.5 million.
In total 39 stocks advanced, 57 declined and 18 stayed put.
