Jets en­ter Greek air space

A to­tal of 11 Turk­ish fighter jets vi­o­lated Greek air space in the cen­tral and north­east­ern Aegean yes­ter­day, ac­cord­ing to Greek de­fense of­fi­cials who said there was one dog­fight be­tween Greek and Turk­ish air­craft. The Turk­ish jets, 10 of which were fly­ing in for­ma­tion and one on its own, vi­o­lated the Athens Flight In­for­ma­tion Re­gion six times, of­fi­cials said, adding that two of the Turk­ish air­craft were armed. All Turk­ish planes were chased off by Greek jets.
