Police bomb disposal experts were sent to Athens’s Evelpidon court complex yesterday afternoon after an anonymous caller called the Ethnos newspaper, claiming to represent Sect of Revolutionaries, a domestic guerrilla group, and warned a rocket-propelled grenade was about to be fired at the building. The call turned out to be a hoax and officers found nothing suspicious at the scene. Police have been on standby for a possible revenge attack since the arrest last month of Panagiota Roupa, a leading member of terrorist group Revolutionary Struggle.
