Children decorate red eggs at a workshop jointly organized by the municipal authorities and the Child Workshop of the National Gallery in Nafplio yesterday. On the Thursday before Greek Orthodox Easter, boiled eggs are dyed red to represent the blood of Jesus Christ. Mild springtime weather is expected across much of Greece over the Easter weekend, including Sunday, when Greeks traditionally roast lamb on the spit. Some cloudiness and rain are forecast for western and northern parts on Sunday but elsewhere it is expected to be sunny with temperatures set to hit 23 Celsius in Attica.
