The Greek Fes­ti­val turns the spot­light on an­cient drama at Ep­i­dau­rus with Aeschy­lus’ “Seven Against Thebes” in a pro­duc­tion by the Na­tional The­ater of North­ern Greece di­rected by Lithua­nia’s Cezaris Grauzi­nis, fol­low­ing two suc­cess­ful per­for­mances at the an­cient venue last year. This dra­matic saga of the ri­valry be­tween two power-hun­gry sib­lings, stars Yan­nis Stankoglou (Eteo­cles), Clio-Danae Otho­neou (Antigone) and Gior­gos Pa­pan­dreou (Polyn­ices).
