Ney vir­tu­oso and UNESCO Artist for Peace Kudsi Er­guner and Greek lyra mas­ter Sokratis Sinopou­los join forces with the 20-mem­ber Tro­pos Byzan­tine Choir and a 10-strong en­sem­ble of Turk­ish singers of re­li­gious mu­sic for a con­cert at the open-air Herod At­ti­cus Theater on Mon­day, July 3. The show will cover a wide range of Eastern ma­te­rial, go­ing back to Byzan­tine mu­sic that orig­i­nated in the mid-10th cen­tury and up all the way to the Ot­toman years.
