Bank de­posits post in­crease in June

Greek pri­vate sec­tor bank de­posits rose in June for the sec­ond month in a row, cen­tral bank data showed yes­ter­day, but they re­main at 14-year lows. Busi­ness and house­hold de­posits rose to 120.42 bil­lion eu­ros from 119.42 bil­lion in May, their low­est level since May 2003. Greek banks have seen small de­posit in­flows over the space of more than a year af­ter the coun­try clinched a third bailout to stay in the eu­ro­zone.
