The Mu­seum of Chil­dren’s Art is host­ing “From My Mi­cro­cosm to Our Planet,” an ex­hi­bi­tion of 122 paint­ings and 3D art­works by chil­dren, dat­ing from 1945 to 2016, ded­i­cated to the no­tion of co­ex­is­tence. The ex­hi­bi­tion, which runs through Septem­ber, is cu­rated by Iris Kri­tikou and spon­sored by the Stavros Niar­chos Foun­da­tion. Cre­ated in 1994, the Mu­seum of Chil­dren’s Art was cre­ated in or­der to study and pro­mote art cre­ated by chil­dren as well as to fos­ter an in­ter­est in and ap­pre­ci­a­tion of the visual arts among young vis­i­tors. The mu­seum or­ga­nizes ex­hi­bi­tions in Greece and abroad while col­lab­o­rat­ing with var­i­ous in­sti­tu­tions.
