At a conference in Washington organized by the American Hellenic Institute, US Deputy Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs Jonathan Cohen expressed America’s conviction that US companies can enable the Greek economy to return to sustained growth and invited them to be part of the effort. At the event, which was also attended by AHI president Nick Larigakis and Greek Digital Policy Minister Nikos Pappas, Cohen said that showing support for US participation at this year’s Thessaloniki International Fair is also a way of supporting US-Greek relations, which he said have reached their best level since WWII.
