New Democracy chief Kyriakos Mitsotakis said yesterday the attack with a makeshift explosive device comprising three gas canisters against a business in central Athens owned by his spouse Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotaki was the result of government propaganda aimed at damaging his own political career. “This is the result of the ruthless targeting by the backrooms of Maximos Mansion and their mouthpieces, which, of course, aim to hurt me. We’re not afraid of them and this will not pass,” Mitsotakis tweeted. The government yesterday condemned the attack “clearly and firmly.” No one was injured in the attack, which damaged the entrance of the building.
