Ar­row­head Vine

Syn­go­nium Podophyl­lum com­monly called Ar­row­head Vine and But­ter­fly Plant orig­i­nated in Mex­ico and Amer­ica and has adapted well in the Caribbean.

Ar­row­head Vine is a climb­ing vine and can be grown as an ex­cel­lent house­plant. It has sev­eral va­ri­eties and the main dif­fer­ences are the ex­tent of the var­ie­gated mark­ings of ei­ther cream or green and white. Some leaves are al­most white, green or pink with the mark­ings. The un­usual shape of the leaves, al­most like a heart, changes as the plant ma­tures.

Stake Ar­row­head Vine when planted and train it to climb. It can grow as tall as 5ft if trained. It can also be grown in a hang­ing bas­ket.
