Getting into shape:
After months, the Queen’s College school ground is again receiving attention. Yesterday, work began on the field, with approximately 1/3 of the grass being cut. While harrowing and levelling is planned, Chairman of the school board, Alfred Granger, related that ploughing may no longer be necessary as the ground appears to be in “better condition” than was originally thought. As such, works may be completed much sooner than the two weeks initially anticipated.
