GFF en­ables 33 player trans­fers dur­ing lat­est win­dow pe­riod

The Guyana Foot­ball Fed­er­a­tion (GFF), has en­abled 33 player trans­fers, in­clu­sive of five in­ter­na­tional trans­fer­als dur­ing the re­cently con­cluded ‘Sum­mer’ trans­fer win­dow pe­riod of June 1st–31st July 2017.

Ac­cord­ing to a press re­lease from the GFF, the five in­ter­na­tional trans­fers in­volved clubs from Caribbean na­tions Gre­nada and Trinidad and Tobago.

“Among the in­ter­na­tional trans­fers were Lloyd Matthew and Den­zil Craw­ford from the Grenades FC (An­tigua and Bar­buda) to Grove Hi-Tech FC, Murilo R. Bar­bosa from Slingerz FC to Cale­do­nia AIA FC (Trinidad and Tobago), Col­wyn Adams from Cale­do­nia AIA to Slingerz FC and Ralph Par­ris from Ge­orge­town FC to Cale­do­nia AIA” the re­lease re­vealed.

Mean­while, the Elite League clubs in­curred the most trans­fers, as 23 players de­parted and six players ar­rived.

“Ad­di­tion­ally, two (2) trans­fers were fa­cil­i­tated by the East Bank De­mer­ara Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (EBDFA), 16 by the Up­per De­mer­ara Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (UDFA) and 15 by the Rupu­nuni Foot­ball As­so­ci­a­tion (RFA),” stated the re­lease from the GFF.

“The trans­fers en­able the re­spec­tive clubs to pre­pare for the tour­na­ments na­tion-wide and the third sea­son of the Elite League, which is sched­uled to com­mence in the lat­ter half of the year” the re­lease added.
