CAL for lim­ited ser­vice to Ogle air­port

-due to run­way works at CJIA

Caribbean Air­lines says that due to con­struc­tion works sched­uled at the Cheddi Ja­gan In­ter­na­tional Air­port (CJIA), Timehri, from 13 Oc­to­ber to 03 Novem­ber 2017, the flights BW 483 (POS/GEO) and BW 484 (GEO/POS) have been af­fected on spe­cific days.

In a state­ment yes­ter­day, CAL said that to min­imise dis­rup­tion to its val­ued cus­tomers, on the days where flights can­not op­er­ate to/from CJIA, it will op­er­ate ser­vices from the Eu­gene F. Cor­reia In­ter­na­tional Air­port (OGL), Ogle to Piarco In­ter­na­tional Air­port, Trinidad.

Caribbean Air­lines flights out of OGL, will op­er­ate as BW 463 and BW 464, and are for pas­sen­ger re-ac­com­mo­da­tion only. These flights will not be avail­able for sale.

Fol­low­ing the CAL state­ment, the CJIA Cor­po­ra­tion is­sued a state­ment say­ing that ef­fec­tive Oc­to­ber 13, 2017, air­craft op­er­a­tions will be in­ter­rupted at the CJIA to ac­com­mo­date run­way works.

The Aero­drome will be closed from 6 pm to 6 am be­tween Oc­to­ber 13 and Novem­ber 2, 2017 - ex­cept Tues­days and Thurs­days and Saturday, Oc­to­ber 14 and Saturday, Oc­to­ber 21.

It said that the trav­el­ling pub­lic is there­fore urged to con­tact their travel agents/air­lines to con­firm their flights dur­ing this pe­riod.
