Re­gion 2 power woes raised in Par­lia­ment

The elec­tric­ity sit­u­a­tion in Re­gion 2 is still not back to nor­mal and the Min­is­ter of Pub­lic In­fra­struc­ture has been asked to ex­plain to the Na­tional As­sem­bly to tell res­i­dents there how the gov­ern­ment is go­ing to bring the sit­u­a­tion un­der con­trol, PPP MP, Juan Edghill has posed the fol­low­ing ques­tion to the Min­is­ter: Black­outs in Re­gion 2

*Could the Min­is­ter of Pub­lic In­fra- struc­ture, Hon. David Pat­ter­son, in­form this House as to what mea­sures have been taken to re­store elec­tric­ity to the res­i­dents of Re­gion No. 2 who have been pun­ish­ing for over five (5) weeks with­out elec­tric­ity, and, or, fre­quent and long power out­ages?

Could the Min­is­ter say how soon will the res­i­dents see a re­turn to a sta­ble and re­li­able elec­tric­ity sup­ply?
