KFC staffer robbed on way home

A 36-year-old man­ager in train­ing, at­tached to Be­harry Restau­rant Hold­ings Inc (KFC) is now in a state of dis­tress after be­ing pounced upon by a lone gun­man on Tues­day evening, while walk­ing home from work on Anira Street, Queen­stown, Ge­orge­town.

Char­rissa Ram­per­saud was re­port­edly some houses away from her own home, at around 7:15 pm, when she no­ticed a White Al­lion mo­tor­car, PSS 8175 stop a few feet in front of her.

In an or­deal that lasted less than 3 min­utes, the ban­dit grabbed Ram­per­saud’s purse, pushed her to the ground then hopped back into the wait­ing mo­tor car, which quickly fled the scene.

The woman re­port­edly lost a quan­tity of valu­ables in­clud­ing, 2 mo­bile phones, a hard drive, her wal­let con­tain­ing ap­prox­i­mately $10,000 cash, her ID card, her Na­tional In­sur­ance Scheme (NIS) card along with her bank cards.

The mat­ter was re­ported and an in­ves­ti­ga­tion has been launched.
