Opposition Leader at high-level IMF Forum
Opposition Leader, Bharrat Jagdeo, attended the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) high-level Caribbean Forum which in Jamaica. The IMF, partnering with the Jamaican government,hosted the Forum under the theme ‘Unleashing Growth and Strengthening Resilience in the Caribbean’ to focus on unique issues that the Caribbean region is facing and the opportunities that can be found to cope with the changing global landscape. Dr Jagdeo was one of the panelists dealing with the issue of ‘Fiscal Policy and Political Cycles’, which is one of several discussion sessions on the agenda.
