Ubicado en el centro histórico de la ciudad, este Centro Turístico cuenta con tres entradas peatonales y con dos entradas para vehículos. Es unlugar impresionante con propuestas gastronómicas, zonas de entretenimiento y comercio. Además, la Villa de San Miguel cuenta con una hermosa terraza donde podrá apreciar una vista panóramica del centro de Tegucigalpa. Su apertura se dio inicialmente con los libros que poseía la biblioteca de la UNAH, y luego recibió diversas donaciones como la del doctor Marco Aurelio Soto, quien donó parte de su biblioteca particular, con alrededor de 309 volúmenes. En la actualidad contiene más de sesenta mil volúmenes y se categoriza como una institución de utilidad pública, dependiente de la Secretaría de Cultura, Artes y Deportes. This library was founded on August 27, 1880, after collecting and ordering various existing bibliographic, hemerographic and archival materials. Its initial opening was made with books from the UNAH´S library, and then received various donations, such as the one from Dr. Marco Aurelio Soto, who donated part of his private library, containing about 309 volumes.
It currently contains more than sixty thousand volumes and is categorized as a public utility institution, under the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports.
