For ex­porters from all over the world, Hong Kong is the “gate­way” to China and Asia, and this is why pro­duc­ers from the Euro­pean Union also have to be there. The Agripro Asia trade show will bring to­gether a large group of traders from many in­dus­tries who, to­gether with the cre­ators of the “Fla­vors of Europe ‒ Qual­ity and Tra­di­tion” pro­gramme, im­ple­ment its goals in var­i­ous parts of the globe. Cur­rently, we are on the third year pro­mot­ing the “Fla­vors of Europe” EU sup­port­ing mech­a­nism, of which the As­so­ci­a­tion of Butch­ers and Pro­duc­ers of Pro­cessed Meat of the Repub­lic of Poland, al­ready well-known to peo­ple in Hong Kong, has been a ben­e­fi­ciary for over a decade. This was made pos­si­ble thanks to the out­stand­ing pro­mo­tional pro­grammes pre­sented dur­ing trade shows such as Food Expo and Agripro Asia. Things are go­ing to be no dif­fer­ent on 30 Novem­ber ‒ 2 De­cem­ber, when the “Fla­vors of Europe ‒ Qual­ity and Tra­di­tion” ex­hi­bi­tion stand will once again amazes all vis­i­tors dur­ing the Agripro Asia trade show in Hong Kong. The EU zone will at­tract them with beau­ti­ful stand de­sign, as well as the fa­mous hos­pi­tal­ity hosts, fea­tur­ing mem­bers of many or­gan­i­sa­tions from the meat, fruit and veg­etable in­dus­tries, in­clud­ing a group of over 20 pro­duc­ers open for busi­ness meet­ings, well-pre­pared to present their rich of­fer, which com­bines pork, beef and high-qual­ity poul­try meat with fruit and veg­eta­bles. The flavour and aroma of the dishes served by out­stand­ing chefs work­ing for the best restau­rants will surely at­tract many guests. The pro­duc­ers and man­agers of “Fla­vors of Europe ‒ Qual­ity and Tra­di­tion” will join forces with chefs to prove to vis­i­tors that prod­ucts from the Euro­pean Union are worth pay­ing at­ten­tion to, not only be­cause of their com­pet­i­tive prices, but first and fore­most, be­cause of the taste and qual­ity of the meat, veg­eta­bles, fruit and their prod­ucts. Th­ese un­ques­tion­able ad­van­tages and ben­e­fits are en­sured by con­stantly deep­ened the knowl­edge of breed­ers and pro­duc­ers, ex­panded thanks to their col­lab­o­ra­tion with sci­en­tific cen­tres, as well as em­ploy­ing in­no­va­tive so­lu­tions and state-of-theart tech­nolo­gies. More­over, by re­fer­ring to tra­di­tion, where nat­u­ral flavour is all that mat­ters, this guar­an­tees the suc­cess of prod­ucts from the EU coun­tries. The mas­ters’ kitchen will of­fer dishes made of pork, high qual­ity poul­try meat, as well as fresh and chilled beef, com­bined in an at­trac­tive way with var­i­ous fruit and veg­eta­bles, as well as fruit and veg­etable pre­serves. The man­agers of the pro­gramme also point out the ad­van­tages of poul­try meat pro­duced un­der the QAFP (Qual­ity As­sur­ance for Food Prod­ucts) sys­tem, which was put in place in Poland. Such meat is char­ac­terised by per­fect pa­ram­e­ters when it comes to its qual­ity, culi­nary use and flavour. Sim­i­lar traits ex­em­plify beef from cat­tle raised ac­cord­ing to the prin­ci­ples of the QMP (Qual­ity Meat Pro­gram) sys­tem and pork from pigs raised us­ing state-of-the-art tech­nolo­gies, whilst at the same time tak­ing care of an­i­mal wel­fare. It is worth not­ing that the fresh and pro­cessed fruit and veg­eta­bles are also pro­duced in full ac­cor­dance with the GAP (Good Agri­cul­tural Prod­uct) qual­ity sys­tem for the agri­cul­tural sec­tor, whilst also ob­serv­ing the GMP and GHP stan­dards. Con­fir­ma­tion that draw­ing on the wealth of the culi­nary her­itage and choos­ing the most pre­cious el­e­ments in or­der to com­bine tra­di­tion with mod­ern achieve­ments and in­no­va­tion pro­duces out­stand­ing ef­fects will be pre­sented to the guests of the “Fla­vors of Europe ‒ Qual­ity and Tra­di­tion” pro­mo­tion pro­gramme.
