WHERE TO EAT
Sado, with its high mountains, fertile plains and surrounding well-stocked seas, is home to bountiful delicacies. Fresh seafood and fruit, with the very best quality of Koshihikari rice, are some of the things visitors must try while visiting. We highly recommend Ajisai ࠡڏ(
sauce made from soy-based ago dashi broth. It may be a small eatery but the views of the lush rice plains just out of its window are pretty impressive. For a taste of the freshest sashimi and seasonal seafood caught in the water surrounding Sado, enjoy it at Chouzaburouzushi (ӕѧᅦୗې Expect to receive an incredibly large portion of kaizendon, and request for some amazingly fresh uni and abalone – prepared right before your eyes.
