• SGX Tees Off Bull Charge 2017

S$328,000 raised for var­i­ous char­i­ties

Sin­ga­pore Ex­change’s (SGX) 2017 Bull Charge Char­ity Golf event, held at Tanah Merah Coun­try Club saw par­tic­i­pa­tion from 53 com­pa­nies, rais­ing a to­tal of S$328,000 in pro­ceeds. The Char­ity Golf event is the open­ing shot for SGX Bull Charge, a year-long char­ity pro­gramme that ral­lies the fi­nan­cial com­mu­nity and Sgx-listed com­pa­nies to­gether for a char­i­ta­ble cause.

All pro­ceeds raised will go to five char­i­ties – Asian Women’s Wel­fare As­so­ci­a­tion (AWWA), Autism As­so­ci­a­tion of Sin­ga­pore, Fei Yue Com­mu­nity Ser­vices, Shared Ser­vices for Char­i­ties and Com­mu­nity Chest. Con­tri­bu­tions from SGX Bull Charge spon­sors have since en­abled its ben­e­fi­cia­ries to de­liver bet­ter care and as­sis­tance to those in need, specif­i­cally un­der­priv­i­leged chil­dren and youth, fam­i­lies, the dis­abled and the el­derly.

This year, SGX Bull Charge, now in its 14th year, will be rais­ing funds through a se­ries of fundrais­ing events, namely the Char­ity Golf, Char­ity Futsal to be held on 30 Septem­ber 2017 and the Char­ity Run as the grand fi­nale for SGX Bull Charge 2017, to be held on 17 Novem­ber 2017 at the Sin­ga­pore F1 Pit. Ox­ley Hold­ings Lim­ited was the Pre­ferred Part­ner for Bull Charge Char­ity Golf, match­ing its do­na­tion dol­lars to the golf scores of the par­tic­i­pants.
