• SGX Tees Off Bull Charge 2017
S$328,000 raised for various charities
Singapore Exchange’s (SGX) 2017 Bull Charge Charity Golf event, held at Tanah Merah Country Club saw participation from 53 companies, raising a total of S$328,000 in proceeds. The Charity Golf event is the opening shot for SGX Bull Charge, a year-long charity programme that rallies the financial community and Sgx-listed companies together for a charitable cause.
All proceeds raised will go to five charities – Asian Women’s Welfare Association (AWWA), Autism Association of Singapore, Fei Yue Community Services, Shared Services for Charities and Community Chest. Contributions from SGX Bull Charge sponsors have since enabled its beneficiaries to deliver better care and assistance to those in need, specifically underprivileged children and youth, families, the disabled and the elderly.
This year, SGX Bull Charge, now in its 14th year, will be raising funds through a series of fundraising events, namely the Charity Golf, Charity Futsal to be held on 30 September 2017 and the Charity Run as the grand finale for SGX Bull Charge 2017, to be held on 17 November 2017 at the Singapore F1 Pit. Oxley Holdings Limited was the Preferred Partner for Bull Charge Charity Golf, matching its donation dollars to the golf scores of the participants.
