OPod Tube Hous­ing, con­ceived by

Hong Kong-based firm James Law Cy­ber­tec­ture, is an in­no­va­tive, low-cost mi­cro-liv­ing unit de­signed to ease the city’s hous­ing af­ford­abil­ity cri­sis and home­less prob­lems. Built from read­ily avail­able con­crete wa­ter pipe, the de­sign utilises its pow­er­ful struc­ture to form a 100sqft apart­ment for one or two peo­ple, with liv­ing, cook­ing and bath­room ar­eas in­side. Each unit comes with smart­phone locks for on­line ac­cess. Fast, safe to as­sem­ble and even stack­able, it’s a minido­mes­tic rev­o­lu­tion in the mak­ing. Learn more at
