RICHARD MILLE RM 07-01 CARBON TPT BRACELET

After 13 months of development, Richard Mille eschews the typical rubber strap that usually accompanies its timepieces and presents a new bracelet in Carbon TPT for its RM 07-01 ladies’ watch. Carbon TPT is a composite of thinply carbon and quartz materials that’s extremely hardy and yet very light. With this new bracelet, the tonneau-shaped RM 07-01 is now dressed entirely in Carbon TPT and titanium from the bezel to the folding clasp. What makes this bracelet stand out is the complexity of its architecture, which is comprised of 200 parts that are held together by 44 distinctive Richard Mille spline screws. The bracelet’s wood-like texture is achieved by setting the carbon-fibre layers in resin and then heat sealed. Ultra-light, weighing just 29 grams, and ultra-durable, this sporty yet elegant timepiece is driven by an automatic movement featuring an innovative rotor, which provides 50 hours of power.
