SilkRoad - - TRAVEL TACTICS

IT’S EASY

to see why Hang Gai Street is also known as Silk Street: it’s where visitors find tailor shops, each packed with yards of fabric, silk included. The shops are housed in rows of old French-style houses, their narrow facades and balconies adding to the street’s charm. In these buildings you’ll also find plenty of art galleries, jewellery shops, cafes and knick-knack stores.
