Kumbakonam is a town in the Thanjavur district in the south-eastern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is located 40 kms from Thanjavur and 273 kms from Chennai.

Kumbakonam Degree Coffee is the traditional coffee beverage associated with the town of Kumbakonam. It owes to the pure cows' milk without any adulterants and chicory. Purity is the standard of Kumbakonam Degree Coffee.

The uniqueness is that the coffee is served in brass 'Dabara Set', the golden colour cup and a tumbler. This brass 'Dabara Set' traps the heat and keeps the coffee hot.

The right way to make the Kumbakonam Degree Coffee is to first add sugar in the Brass Tumbler along with required amount of decoction. Finally, freshly boiled pure cows' milk is added which is adjusted according to our taste. Never re-heat the coffee.
