To know more about the company, their projects and about their future plans, Accommodation Times spoke to Mr. Shivanand Samant, C.E.O. of Supreme Housing and Hospitality Pvt. Ltd. He shares the company’s vision and aims.
1. Mr. Shivanand tell something about Supreme Housing, the aim behind it’s incorporation.
Ans: Sharma Family has been historical patriarchs of Powai. Initially they were the owners of more than 1, 600 acres of land in Powai, which was later on acquired the state government through land acquisition for developing the land into concrete realty. Then the promoters thought of developing the remaining land of about 32 acres by themselves and establish a new township Supreme City and enter into the world of realty. Mr Bhawani Shankar Sharma has been a visionary behind the development of Supreme City.
2. Which are the projects build by the company so far?
Ans: The companies aim is to build Supreme City over 32 acres with a distinct topography, which will consist of Supreme Business Park, Residential Villas, Service Apartments, Helix, and a Lake are sprawled over the contoured basalt hill canvas. There are two phases of construction Phase- I constitute of
IT Business Park, which is already built and 80% of the premises is already filled and is operational.
7 High-end Residential Villas- Under Construction will be completed by 2015.
The crescent shaped Service Apartments.
Phase- II plans are still in pipeline it constitutes
Hilton Gardens, 4 star Business Hotel- A JV project with Hilton Hotels- Yet to commence. construction as waiting for clearance from Civil Aviation Department.
Residential apartments- Under process for MMRDA approval.
3. Tell us something about the Business Park?
Ans: Supreme Business Park is a 1.2 million sq. ft. consisting of 7 lac sq. ft Offices, 3 lac sq. ft Terraces, 2 lac sq. ft Parking/Services. It is office development with future-ready infrastructure and amenities. This new-age business destination is a stateof-the-art cantilevered structure spread over two wings, with one wing emerging out of the scenic lake.
4. Besides Supreme City which other projects are going on?
Ans: We are planning to de- velop landmark high rise residential projects across the city of Mumbai, including a business hotel, high end luxury villas, redevelopment project and SRA project. Currently we have completed one redevelopment project and working on one SRA project
Aishwariya Co- Op Housing Society- Redevelopment prject in Powai.
Padmavati Co- op Housing Society- SRA project in Goregaon.
5. Tell us something about your redevelopment project Aishwariya Co-Op Housing Society.
Ans: It is our first redevelopment project is strategically located in the heart of powai which is a prime commercial corridor of Mumbai. It has close proximity to offices, schools, health care facilities, parks, shops and entertainment centers also high end retail shops to world class sports, dining, recreational and leisure facilities are available. We have provided all necessary amenities to our customers.
6. Tell us something about your SRA project.
Ans: It is a Joint Venture project, we are going to build 4 towers of 24 storey, out of four two of them are almost ready. The project will provide housing to 1, 000 slum dwellers. We are hoping to give possession by October 2014.
7. What are your future plans?
Ans: Currently our target is to develop Powai, to establish Supreme City in the locality, later on we would like to focus on building residential, commercial and hospitality projects all over Mumbai.
8. Would you like t build projects outside Mumbai?
Ans: Yes, of course actually we are working on some projects in Delhi and Gurgaon, we work there as contractors we only construct structures, but we would like to establish ourselves there as developers in near future.
9. What is your take on affordable housing, are you planning any of such projects?
Ans: Affordable housing is the need of the hour, the city needs affordable projects designed with necessary and good amenities. We would also like to deliver affordable housing in the city, we have 100 acres of land in Bhiwandi, we are planning to construct residential mass housing project and it might be affordable housing, but still it is in pipeline, we are thinking over it.
10. Concept of Integrated township is rapidly emerging in the realty world and people are also attracted towards it, are you planning any townships?
Ans: We have already develop a township in Powai, we have already build Business Park, we are developing residential complex and villas with close proximity to schools, shopping centers and entertainment centers, our Business Hotel is in process, so you can call this as an Integrated township, we still have a huge land where we can build more developments, Mr. Kishore Biani has even proposed to build a retail outlet here, when the area is fully developed.
