DDA sets property conversion camp for pending cases
A special camp for disposal of pending conversion cases of DDA properties is to be set by Delhi Development Authority (DDA) for the month of July.
This was decided after an encouraging response it received for an earlier camp held for converting DDA properties from leasehold to freehold.
The nine-day camp will be held at Nagrik Suvidha Kendras (NSKs) of the DDA established in various zones of Delhi from July 1. Officials said camp dates have been allotted colony-wise for DDA flats, group housing flats, cooperative house building society plots and residential plots.
“For Dwarka and West Delhi, the camp will be held for two days on July 1 and 2. In Rohini, Central and North Delhi camp will be held on July 3, 4 and 5, respectively.
Similarly, for the entire trans- Yamuna area it will be held for two days on July 7 and 8 in Laxmi Nagar. For Central and South Delhi, camps will be held on July 9,” a DDA spokesperson said.
All applicants who are covered under the policy of conversion and whose applications are at various stages of process have been advised to attend on the dates as given above.
“The applicants are requested to bring copies of all payment challans, including no dues certificate, if any.
But applicants whose cases are pending on account of policy decisions, which have not as yet been finalised, like non-availability of sanctioned building plans or where the property is mortgaged or the cases are pending with various investigating agencies, etc., are advised not to attend,” an official said.
