A TIME TO REMEMBER

Adorn - - GOING ON -

Luxury watch retailer Ethos Watch Boutiques brought the Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG) symposium to India. Regarded as the most prestigious awards in horology, GPHG is an honour that luxury watch brands vie for every year. Prior to the awards in November, it is customary for the participating watches to travel to countries. At the GPHG, New Delhi, discerning watch lovers and collectors got the rare opportunity to admire timepieces from brands such as Breguet, Blancpain, A. Lange & Söhne, Van Cleef & Arpels, Jaquet Droz, Harry Winston, Omega, Bulgari, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Chopard, Mont Blanc, Hublot, Hermes and TAG Heuer. Each unveiled special creations that showcased their expertise and excellence in haute horlogerie. Other internationally acclaimed luxury watch brands like Urwerk, Frederic Jouvenot, Grönefeld Parallax and DeLaneau also gave Indian connoisseurs a glimpse into their fine craft. Ethos chairman Yashovardhan Saboo hosted a gala dinner at the Swiss embassy in New Delhi. Guests included Dr. H.E. Linus von Castelmur, ambassador of Switzerland to India and Bhutan, along with his wife, and Rajive Suri, Peter Dascoli, Cecile Dascoli, Prisca and Reis Marti, Malvika Suri, Aditya Singhal and Charuvi Agrawal among others.
