Adorn - - PUBLISHERS NOTE -

One of the few jewellery designers to work with Whitby jet, a gemstone popularly found

in Whitby, Yorkshire, JACQUELINE CULLEN crafts contemporary pieces speckled with diamonds and granules of gold. The use of Whitby jet jewellery dates back to the Roman era and was mostly worn for mourning during the Victorian period in Britain. Once greatly mined, the gemstone is now sourced mainly from abandoned mines.
