La Biennale Paris, formerly known as the Biennale des Antiquaires, has been a must-attend event for art collectors for more than 50 years. Starting this year, the fair will become an annual event, but will retain the ‘biennial’ in its title for now. The Biennale will be held from Monday, September 11th to Sunday, September 17th, under the nave of the Grand Palais, with a private showing on Sunday, September 10th.
With the announcement of its annualisation, the fair confirmed its commitment to renewal and development, adopting a shorter, dynamic format, while offering two potential weekends to French and international collectors and professionals. La Biennale Paris 2017 has 95 confirmed exhibitors, including 36 international exhibitors. In addition to international galleries and antique dealers, some of the world’s greatest jewellers – Boghossian, Glenn Spiro, Anna Hu, Moussaieff Jewellers and Nirav Modi – will participate in the event.
