Adorn - - OFF THE SHELF -

Fine jeweller Ortaea’s Armor collection was inspired by a steel bangle, which was gifted to the brand’s creative director Mita Vohra by her mother. A talismanic piece, it was a symbol of protection from a mother to her child.

The Armor collection in 18-karat gold pays tribute to the power inside each of us. Drawing inspiration from history, mythology and astronomy and the mysterious cosmos, each piece harnesses the power of these influences. The gold and diamond pieces portray the softness and strength found in every individual.

The rose or white gold bangles studded with white diamonds take the shape of a shield and evoke Mita’s childhood growing up in Africa. The Armor rings in black or yellow gold get their movement due to fine coils of gold and diamond that wrap the finger.

Ethical sourcing of gems and social responsibility are a core part of the brand’s ethos, with a zero tolerance for conflict diamonds.
