AAI marks its pres­ence at World ATM Congress 2016


Weight Ex­ec­u­tives from AAI were de­puted on tour to at­tend World ATM Congress-2016 at Madrid, Spain. They got an op­por­tu­nity to wit­ness the chang­ing trend in ATM/CNS, show­cased by re­puted ven­dors and Air Nav­i­ga­tion Ser­vice providers. The team had booked an ex­hibit stall to show­case AAI’S ini­tia­tives and achieve­ments which was in­au­gu­rated by Mr. Chi­ang Hi, Eng, Direc­tor Asia Pa­cific Af­fairs, CANSO.MR.CHI­ANG ap­pre­ci­ated AAI’S ini­tia­tives and achieve­ments to­wards seam­less ATM in gen­eral and in Asia Pa­cific & MID re­gion of ICAO in par­tic­u­lar.the theme of the event changes ev­ery year, this year the theme was “To­gether, we have to per­se­vere in the lead­er­ship, change, and im­ple­men­ta­tion.”

On inau­gu­ral day AAI’S stall was vis­ited by Mr. Kevin Shun, Direc­tor Gen­eral of Sin­ga­pore Civil Avi­a­tion au­thor­ity, del­e­gated from ANS of Sey­chelles, Oman, South Africa and del­e­gates from other stake­hold­ers in avi­a­tion in­dus­try. The fol­low­ing pan­els were placed high­light­ing AAI ini­tia­tives and achieve­ments. ➢ Aerodrome Safe­guard­ing Avi­a­tion Sys­tem (ASAS) also known as NOCAS ver.2.0 ➢ Air­port Col­lab­o­ra­tive De­ci­sion Mak­ing

Sys­tem. ➢ AAI ini­tia­tives for Green En­vi­ron­ment. ➢ Pic­to­rial pro­file of AAI. ➢ Train­ing In­dia. World ATM Congress is the world’s largest air traf­fic man­age­ment event. It com­bines a large-scale ex­hi­bi­tion, world-class con­fer­ence, and pre­mier net­work­ing op­por­tu­ni­ties that al­low par­tic­i­pants to ex­change knowl­edge about the lat­est air traf­fic man­age­ment trends and de­vel­op­ments and build ca­reer-long re­la­tion­ships.

It helps fos­ter innovation and col­lab­o­ra­tion in the avi­a­tion in­dus­try.it is also a plat­form for air traf­fic man­age­ment de­ci­sion-mak­ers and avi­a­tion in­no­va­tors from all seg­ments of Avi­a­tion in­dus­try to learn, share, and con­nect.
