Indian Aviation Academy: Leading aviation training with a Global Edge
Indian Aviation Academy (IAA) has been setup as the joint training academy of the Airports Authority of India (AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) under the aegis of NIAMAR-SOCIETY which was formed on 22nd July 2010.
IAA aims to be a Centre of Excellence in areas of Executive trainings, Consultancy & Research in Aviation Management and imparts training to the employees of AAI, DGCA, BCAS and other stake holders across ASIA-PACIFIC Region & African countries. IAA also hosts Global & Regional workshops / seminars on various topics in the field of civil aviation.
NEW IAA CAMPUS:-
The participating Organizations of NIAMAR Society have come together to build, a more spacious and state of the art campus at Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The new campus is likely to be made operational in early 2017. The campus will have academic and hostel block having a built up area of about 18000 Sqm and 4000 Sqm respectively. The Academic block consist of 12 training halls, dining hall with seating capacity of 128 persons, Auditorium with seating capacity of 250 persons, Library, Computer Centre, 4 nos Syndicate Rooms, 40 seater Restaurant, Bank ATM, Parking for 230 Vehicles and lush green surroundings. The Hostel block consist of 36 single and 32 double bedded rooms, 4 suits, Large Dining Hall, Multipurpose Hall, 2 Gymnasiums, Swimming Pool, Badminton Court, Basketball Court, Lawn Tennis Court, 66 Vehicle Car Parking and Beautiful Lawns.
