Gun Culture in America
Referring to Gun culture in America and Las Vegas
massacre (November), It is both sad and disturbing that the concert at Las Vegas had to end abruptly after a gunman went on a killing spree not only gunned down more than 60 people and critically injured 500 around sending shock waves across U.S. But also created panic amongst the huge gathering who were having a gala time watching the concert with keen interest and enthusiasm. As the horrific shooting incident ended, it was noticed that the shooter killed himself even before police could nab him. One fails to understand as to why the shooter indulged in mass shooting in the first place when there appears to be no enmity between the shooter or any terrorist group and the organisers of the concert. Notwithstanding the fact that America witnessed similar incidents since 1982 which rose steadily from 1991 prior to this latest horrendous incident in Las Vegas, it only reinforces the fact that investigative agencies are still unable to find out the real cause behind such shoot-outs which has been playing havoc with the lives of innocent people every time.
Surprisingly, even lawenforcing agencies are clueless and unable to curb such barbaric and inhuman acts so far. As the US and rest of the world were unanimous in condemning such ghastly acts whenever it takes place, as a routine, it is unfortunate that after the initial promise to wise such dastardly acts, there is no concrete action taken to get into the roots to find out the truth and men behind such wrong-doings. Though Islamic State had owned responsibility for the shoot-out even as investigation is underway, it is high time indeed; America takes drastic measures to combat such senseless killings of innocents by perverse minds.
