Interestingly, Japan is experiencing less spending on the imported apparel volumes. The fall in the unit prices (0.42 Yen per kg of apparel in 2017 as against 0.43 Yen per kg of apparel in 2016) propelled the country’s import during the first five months of the year. The year 2017 is projected to remain progressive for Japan’s clothing demand as weather in the second half of the year remains pleasant. During the season, sporting and athleisure activities increase in Japan thus apparel imports by the country will keep growing.
