Denim brand Levi’s has launched an artificial intelligence-based Chatbox tool called ‘Virtual Stylist’, which is available on the brand’s website and Facebook Messenger. Virtual Stylist uses the experience of in-store stylists to help the users determine which pair of jeans would fit them best. The personalization is done through the inbuilt technology provided by TrueFit, a US-based software company. The Chatbox, provided by mode.ai, will collect all the data and integrate it with TrueFit tech to deliver personalized recommendations. The users will receive fashion advice through a voice guide on their laptops or mobiles, claims Levi’s. Similar to the Chatbox tool, Levi’s is further aiming to push investments in new technologies to accelerate its e-commerce business.
