Harley-Davidson to Open 13 Apparel Stores in India
Popular American motorcycle company Harley-Davidson is planning on launching branded stores across top metros in India. The company is considering potential partnerships for its retail expansion and will open its first three exclusive brand outlets at Imphal, Siliguri and Kolkata, which will house premium apparel and merchandise. The company plans to expand further into other cities by opening a total of 13 stores across the country.
The company chose these cities for their debut as they believed that the market in these areas has an enormous potential for a brand like Harley-Davidson and its new fashion line and concept store licensed out to GIII. Harley Davidson’s merchandise is of superior quality and is known to last for years even with rough usage. GIII is a leading fashion retailer in India with owns licensing rights for brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Karl Lagerfeld and Levis, in the country.
