IMTMA gears up for IMTEX Form­ing and Tooltech 2018

In­dian Ma­chine Tool Man­u­fac­tur­ers’ As­so­ci­a­tion (IMTMA) is or­gan­is­ing ‘IMTEX FORM­ING 2018 & Tooltech 2018’, a B2B ex­hi­bi­tion of metal form­ing tech­nolo­gies at Ban­ga­lore In­ter­na­tional Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre (BIEC), Bengaluru from January 25 to 30, 2018. Around 500 ex­hibitors from 23 coun­tries, in­clud­ing In­dia, and spe­cial groups from 3 coun­tries, are ex­pected to par­tic­i­pate in the event be­ing or­gan­ised on a gross area of 33,000 sqm.

The 6-day ex­hi­bi­tion will serve as an im­por­tant platform for the ma­chine tool in­dus­try to show­case the lat­est tech­nolo­gies in metal form­ing. In­no­va­tions in metal form­ing tech­nolo­gies, ro­bot­ics and au­to­ma­tion, weld­ing and join­ing, wire­form­ing and draw­ing, presses, die cast­ing, hy­dro form­ing, sheet metal form­ing ma­chines, presses for spe­cial ap­pli­ca­tions, dies and moulds, hy­draulic and pneu­matic sys­tems and el­e­ments, test­ing ma­chines, and so on will be on dis­play.

The ex­hi­bi­tion will fea­ture sev­eral com­pa­nies in­tro­duc­ing new tech­nolo­gies to suit many user in­dus­tries such as aero­space, de­fence, au­to­mo­tive, auto com­po­nents, cap­i­tal goods, elec­tri­cal and elec­tron­ics, earth mov­ing and con­struc­tion, food pro­cess­ing and dairy equip­ment, and many others. High level trade del­e­ga­tions from pub­lic and pri­vate sec­tor in­dus­tries will be present.

On January 24, 2018. IMTMA is or­gan­is­ing an In­ter­na­tional Sem­i­nar on trends in metal form­ing tech­nolo­gies. IMTEX FORM­ING 2018 & Tooltech 2018 will also fea­ture events such as Con­nect (an aware­ness pro­gramme on ma­chine tool in­dus­try), Re­verse In­ter­na­tional Buyer-Seller Meet (an interaction platform for ma­chine tool man­u­fac­tur­ers and in­ter­na­tional buy­ers), i2 (In­dus­try-In­sti­tu­tion) Academia Pavil­ion (an event for academia and in­dus­try to in­ter­act). All these are ex­pected to see good vis­i­tor turnouts.
