Mahindra upgrades Earth master series
M&M took Excon 2017 to expand its range of backhoe loaders in the country and launched SX90 under its Earthmaster series. Designed and developed based on the customer feedback at the Chakan facility, Earthmaster SX90 is a one-piece structure powered by 4915IA CEV engine. The four-cylinder powerhouse has been developed in-house by Mahindra and churns out 90hp power. The four-speed (four forward and reverse) and four-wheel drive Earthmaster SX90 gets an ergonomically designed cabin built with tubular sections and CED technology for longer protection from rust.
With maximum digging depth of 5.09m, Earthmaster SX90 has a bucket tear-out force of 5797kg and front hydrostatic power steering with pressure relief setting of 145bar. RC Mangal, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, Mahindra & Mahindra, said “A large number of projects like metro construction and airports, along with couple of irrigation projects in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, which were almost stuck or moving slow, have started moving very well. This is well supported by connectivity build up in terms of border roads and North-Eastern States.”
Along with Earthmaster SX90, a standard variant VX with joystick operation, front-end loader SXL with extended arm, and a concept DrillX, for piling application were also showcased.
