Festival of Speed goes national
IN ITS third season, the Pulsar Festival of Speed is scheduled to visit locations across India, including Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Chennai.
In addition to the race championship, motorcycle maintenance clinics and contests held for Pulsar owners and guests, this year’s festivities include a stunting champi- onship for the first time ever. To this end, aspiring stunters will have the opportunity to be trained by professional stunters from the Ghost Ryderz team. Participation in the stunting championship is open to all Pulsar owners. In the race categories open to RS200, NS200/AS200 and 220F owners, tips on racing will be from national level racer Emmanuel Jebaraj.
Like in previous years, the top 12 participants from each race category will get to pit skills against others in the category at the grand finale to be held at the Kari Motor Speedway in Coimbatore on 17-18 February. The grand prize for each category is a cash voucher of Rs 50,000.
