Gill & Mahindra clean up at K1000
AT THE fifth and final round of the 2017-18 INRC, the MRF K1000 rally held in Karnataka, Gaurav Gill (co-driver Musa Sherif) brought the Mahindra Super XUV 500 to first place. With the win, Gill also seals the INRC championship victory. Mahindra Adventure wins the manufacturer’s title as well. In second overall in the championship was Dean Mascarenhas (co-driver Shruptha Padival) in a Mitsubishi Cedia, also taking the INRC3 class win. In third overall was Karna Kadur (co-driver Nikhil Pai) in a VW Polo. The winner of the INRC2 class was Rahul Kanthraj (co-driver Vivek Y Bhatt) in his Cedia. The calendar proposed for the 2018 season kicks off with the Chennai round on
March 30th 2018.
