PUNE-BASED man­u­fac­turer Pi­ag­gio Group up­dated its Vespa range along with the 2019 edi­tion of the Aprilia SR 150 in In­dia. The up­dated Vespa VXL 150 now re­tails at Rs. 91,140, while the top-end SXL vari­ant is avail­able for Rs. 97,276 and comes with host of new cos­metic up­dates. Sim­i­larly, the 2019 Aprilia SR 150 edi­tion will now re­tail at Rs. 70,031 and the SR 150 Car­bon Edi­tion will set you back by Rs. 73,500. The SR 150 re­ceives a bunch of changes like new paint op­tions and fea­tures up­date. The re­fresh was long overdue for both the mod­els and you might re­mem­ber these from the Pi­ag­gio’s pavil­ion at the Auto Expo 2018.

Pi­ag­gio has also in­tro­duced a new fac­tory fit­ted con­nec­tiv­ity fea­ture that is as­sisted by a mo­bile ap­pli­ca­tion for both Vespa and Aprilia scoot­ers. The new app is avail­able for both an­droid and Ap­ple phones and will come with fea­tures like dis­tress but­ton, find my ve­hi­cle func­tion and also find the near­est fuel pump through the app. The Aprilia SR 150, on the other hand, comes with ad­justable shock ab­sorbers, new wind­shield and a semi-dig­i­tal con­sole. More­over, the scooter also gets bright new colour scheme in­spired by the Ital­ian flag, and is now painted in red, white and green. It also gets a new blue shade. The SR 150 facelift comes with 14-inch large wheels, 220mm disc brakes, new dig­i­tal clus­ter, USB op­tion, con­nec­tiv­ity fea­ture in car­bon and in op­tion to fit con­nec­tiv­ity fea­ture. Vespa says the new prod­ucts will help to in­crease the foot­print across the coun­try. Pi­ag­gio plans to launch 300 Mo­to­plexes in In­dia by end of 2018.
